Information Literacy
Information Literacy Instruction
Library faculty teach information literacy sessions for Southeast classes and groups. Instruction is tailored to meet unique needs of specific class research assignments and information needs. Sessions can last entire class periods or be brief, focused instruction related to a particular resource or skill.
Incorporating Information Literacy Into Assignments
Library faculty can assist class instructors with developing assignments that use Kent Library resources and information literacy skills. Librarians can also provide feedback on existing assignments.
Customized Research Materials
Customized materials, such as online class research guides, can be created for any Southeast class or group, whether online or face-to-face, to supplement and reinforce materials and skills taught in instruction sessions. These materials can easily be linked to within Canvas. There are a variety of examples available in our Subject & Course Guides. Select the "Course Guide" as the type to view guides created for classes and assignments.
